My name is John, 19 years old, Southern California. This is my 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 Ram Air III. This car was originaly my grandfathers that he passed down to me. It has 70,000 original miles on it, but what is more amazing, is that the paint, and interior is 100% original, what you are seeing is 35 year old paint and interior on this car. Its a true survivor. I plan on rebuilding the suspension seeing as how it sat for 20 years in the garage under a car cover I cannot imagine that they are still as good as they use to be. I have redone the brakes, rebuilt the positraction in the rear with 3.55 gearing, installed headers and dual exhaust (pypes). I plan on installing an MSD ignition system, giving the heads and intake manifold a port and polish job, and then installing rear disk brakes and leave the rest as is, and drive it only on the weekends and to the local car show. I am currently looking at getting another second generation Firebird or Trans Am, I am looking at a 73 455 Trans Am, or a nice 79 Trans Am as the next car / daily drivin car. Thanks for your time. oh, and on a side note, the car looks light and then darker in a few colors because of the time of day the photo was taken at and with the sun reflecting off the car.
