Customer Ride 115

I purchased the car in November of 1999 in fairly solid shape. The car was sporting the original Cameo White exterior and Parchment interior but was in dire need of a facelift.

It was originally equipped with the 350 two barrel which now resides on an engine stand in the garage. The current powerplant is a '77 400 with 6X-8 heads. The 350TH transmission is still being used. The rearend is now a factory posi with 3.36 gears, and that is a major upgrade from the 2.56 open rear it originally came with.

The car was repainted and the interior redone in April of 1999, in a course of four weeks. All major rust repairs were made at that time, and the torch red paint was applied. I kept the interior parchment since it makes a unique color combination.

The motor was done the following year, and continues to be a dependible combination for this driver. We drive it to Norwalk every year, and each summer we are usually asked to participate in at least one wedding, so it gets around to an extent.

I have no regrets about this car, as it has given me nothing but smiles and good memories. I hope all Pontiac owners enjoy their cars as much as I do mine.

Thank you again for having such a helpful and awesome website. It truly makes this hobby more enjoyable.
