This is a 66 Tempest Custom I bought on e-bay about a year ago. It is an original California car-built in Fremont and sold new in Sacramento. It spent its entire life in CA until I bought it from its third owner. Since then I've painted the car (which was pretty easy as there was no rust whatsoever) installed new carpet, headliner, seat covers (changed from bench to buckets), console (left the shifter on the column and installed cup holders where the shifter should be), package tray, trunk mat, new shocks and springs front and rear, new tie rods, control arm bushings, Rally II wheels, TH 400 trans, 400 ci engine and so on and so on. It came with factory air, which I plan to refurbish very soon. Also plan to add a sway bar to the rear and a few other odds and ends.
