I purchased this GTO from the original owners estate about 3 years ago, she had ordered the car in Oakland Ca. in late 1966 it was built in Fremont, Ca. and prior to delivery was sent to Royal Pontiac for the Bobcat treatment and then sent back to Oakland for delivery. Along with the car I received the order form, invoice, finance papers, window sticker, every receipt for service or work done on the car as well as a diary she kept on the car, in the diary she had even stapled the tickets she had gotten in it to the pages. The car is almost 100% original, the engine has never been rebuilt or any major work done to it, never been wrecked, the interior is 90% original all that has been replaced is the carpet, it even has the factory 8-track that stills works after some cleaning. I did repaint the car and put on the Crager wheels, replaced all the bushings, balls joints, shocks, springs and exhaust. Thanks to Performance Years and others it has been easy to find the parts needed to make this car the beauty it is.
