I bought it in 1979 for $1250. The previous owner blew the 400 and replaced it with a 1971 350 2 bbl. Just recently I replaced that motor with a 1974 455 , 60 over, #64 heads, performer manifold, quadrajet, hedman headers, accell dual point. It still has the stock converter and 3:08 rear. Motor doesn't have 100 miles on it yet because of overheating and hard starting. I'm sure glad I found "Performance Years" I've gained so much information and tips from the forum and the web-site that I'm finally on the right track. Lot's of good information and experience from people who have "been there....done that" !! Replacing the top as soon as I get the other problems solved. There's actually a light at the end of the tunnel......

Thanks again to PY.
